🚗 Getting Around

You’ll definitely want a car to explore all that Phoenix has to offer! Our home is close to several major highways, making it easy to get around the city and beyond. The huge NorTerra shopping center is just down the road for all your shopping, dining, and coffee needs.

If you’re not renting through a traditional company, check out Turo for private car rentals. Uber and Lyft are also easy to catch in our area if you prefer not to drive.

We’re perfectly located near I-17 and Loop 101, making it easy to reach downtown Phoenix, hospitals, and nearby attractions. Whether you’re here for spring training baseball, golf, soccer tournaments, or just to relax under the sun, there’s something for everyone. Families love the zoos, aquariums, museums, and hot-air balloon rides nearby!

🌵 Outdoor Adventures

Right behind our home is the beautiful Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve, filled with hiking and biking trails for all skill levels. Download the AllTrails App to discover even more nearby routes.

If you’re up for a day trip, don’t miss the red rocks of Sedona (1.5 hours), the pine forests of Flagstaff (2 hours), or the world-famous Grand Canyon (3 hours). For something different, head south to Tucson to explore Sabino Canyon, Colossal Cave, and the Sonoran Desert Museum—then drive up Mt. Lemmon to watch the landscape change from desert to forest!

Closer to home, Lake Pleasant is only about 43 minutes away and offers boating, hiking, and picnic spots with gorgeous desert-lake views. Don’t be surprised if you spot a few wild donkeys roaming near the shore!
